This passion of more than 30 years has successfully helped existing and aspiring food-business owners starting from concept development, design, financial modeling, and menu ideation to marketing, training, and grand opening. HISTORY

The history of our company is not the history of a business, but most of all of our family, fully dedicated to the passion of the food industry for more than 30 years.
After a valuable experience as a top manager, Mr. Pietro Mazza found his own company based on selling catering equipment. Most of all the market to which he refers was the Asian one. Many of his clients had no previous experience in the restaurant business. and Mr. Mazza has an understanding that the equipment is nothing without the knowledge of the food business. He had a revolutionary idea for that period: to enclose in the price of equipment, a teaching course of the most important activities inside the restaurant – cooking, bartendering, service management.

Pietro hired highly skilled professionals from one of the best Italian catering school. The new formula was quite appreciated by the clients. They don't buy only equipment but acquire the knowledge of the business.
1987
Start of a journey
The business grew very fast. Hundreds of projects were made in Asia, Russia, and Europe. Together with restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, the company starts to specialize in food processing plants.
Ice cream and pastry factories, food processing industries were designed, planned, and realized. But again the key point is technology and teaching. Every sale is made strictly only including it. (This one I don't understand)
In the late 90's Andrea, Pietro's eldest son, starts to help in the business.

With his dynamic skills the business grew even faster.
1990–2000
Growing
The company started attend to the most important fairs of the sector all over the world (Milan, Singapore, Tokyo, Moscow)
The showrooms represented mini restaurants where the equipment worked in actual daily activity.

This attracted a lot of new customers around the world and a dozen of projects were made in the US, South America, and Australia.

Now can be considered to all effects a worldwide company.
2000–2005
Conquest of new markets
In the early 2000's, Giorgio, the youngest son of Mr. Mazza joined the business. Giorgio specialized in teaching restaurant management and started the idea of opening the company's own food concepts.
His expertise gave the company an additional boost to the business.

Managing his own restaurants enhanced his knowledge and gave him the opportunity to increase further the progress of consultancy projects.
2005–2010
Creation of own restaurant business
The times are changing and the dynamics of the company is now quite remarkable. The decision is to diversify the business.
FOOD TECHNOLOGY focuses on consulting, concept developing, and managing in the food industry while the other family company, AM GROUP, specializes in sales of catering and food processing equipment with dealerships all over Asia.

In this last decade FOOD TECHNOLOGY opened more than 30 own restaurants or in partnership, created dozens of new concepts, and consulted more than one hundred existing restaurants and new entrepreneurs in the food business.
